Welcome back to Term 2 Library!!!
Premier's Reading Challenge is moving along nicely and the children are very motivated in their reading. Please ensure that books are being logged onto the Premier's Reading Challenge website. There have been opportunities for students to see Mrs Carey if they are having trouble logging on their books last term. Mrs Carey is happy to assist students again this term so please ensure your child/ren approach her if they are having any issues.
Premier's Reading Challenge is a great way to enjoy trying new books and also having a wonderful sense of achievment when the challenge is completed.

National Simultaneous Storytime will be held on Wednesday 24 May 2023.
This years the book being presented is called 'The Speedy Sloth'. Schools all around Australia will be reading the book at the same time.
To celebrate the reading of the book we are running 2 competitions through our library.
A colouring competition for K - 2 and a Design a Sports Outfit for Spike the Sloth for Years 3-6. Going by some of the entries that have come in already we will have a difficult job picking a winner. There are prizes to be won so get those entries in.
Library Bags
A reminder that students must have a library bag to borrow. Unfortunately we cannot allow anyone to borrow without a library bag. It is also most important that students return books on their allocated borrowing day. Please see below:

Tuesday: Year 5, Year 4
Wednesday: Year 6, Year 1
Thursday: Year 2, Year 3
Friday: Kindergarten
