Dear Parents

Please keep in your prayers family and friends of St Patrick’s who have recently lost a love one or are sick at this time.

I have spent 2 professional learning days with our Kindergarten teachers titled KINDERSPOT. There is a growing need in the area of oral language and sensory and motor development in schools especially in Kindergarten. The days were facilitated by a Speech Pathologist and an Occupational therapist.

Did you know……Working for 10 minutes, then movement or ‘’brain breaks” is very important.

Kindergarten

I have completed Kindergarten 2020 enrolments. However, if you know anyone whose family is interested in enrolling for next year please advise them to come to the office or go to the website to download an enrolment form.

There are still spaces for next year.

2019 Kindergarten students do not receive a Semester 1 written report. End of year report will only be sent for Kindergarten. Years 1 to 6 will be receiving their reports at the end of the term.

NAPLAN

Well done to the Year 3 and Year 5 students who completed NAPLAN last week. Students tried hard to do their very best while remaining unworried . We look forward to the NAPLAN results showing us all just what a great job the students and teachers are doing at St Patrick’s. A big thank you to Mr Mattas, who coordinated the NAPLAN process and to Miss Cappetta and Mr Mindzas for their support of the students during the week of testing.

Uniform

Could I please ask you to check in the lost property baskets near the student entry to the office? There are a number of jackets, cardigans etc. Also please write student’s name on school clothing and lunch containers.
