PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
WELCOME BACK
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
The staff of St Patrick's were delighted to welcome the students back to school for Term two. Next week sees the transition period to full winter uniform from the transitional phase we have been in since term resumed.
Thank you to the P&F as well as the parent and grandparent volunteers who ran a wonderful mother's day stall for the students to purchase gifts for their loved ones. The students were also treated to a special pizza lunch. These 'extra' goodies that occur at school happen because of the time and effort from the P&F, so thank you!
I want to wish all the mothers and mother figures in our school community a very happy mother's day this Sunday. My hope is that your children and family spoil you (even if only for a few hours) and show their thanks for all the things you do for them.
ANZAC DAY 2024
Thank you to the families who attended the Dawn Service at Port Kembla on Anzac Day. A special thanks to our School Captains Leena and Joey who represented our school by placing a floral wreath at the memorial.
On our return to school for Term 2 the whole school attended an Anzac Day Liturgy in the Parish Church. At the end of the liturgy the students proceeded past the Anzac Stone where flowers were placed in honor of those who have died and those who continue to serve our country.
This Sunday, Bishop Brian celebrates the installation of Fr Mark as Parish Priest as well as Leena C's confirmation. All are welcome to attend Mass on Sunday at 9am to commemorate these special events. A link for live streaming can be found here.
