It has been a busy first half of the year for our P&F committee and volunteers. We have been involved in many celebrations and activities throughout the school and look forward to many more in the second half of the year.

We have had multiple canteen days that have provided lunches and snacks to the students at St. Patrick’s Primary School, perking up their days and saving parents from the lunch packing for a day. This included our volunteers running a fantastic St Patrick’s Day canteen during the St. Patrick’s Week celebrations that saw some amazing green snacks being sold.

Our spectacular Easter Raffle saw an amazing 12 prizes being given away that included chocolates, bunnies, and many baskets of goodies to the lucky winners.
We held a Mother’s Day stall that was run by our volunteers, this allowed students to purchase a gift for their Mother or a special person in their lives. The students always love to have the opportunity to choose something special that ‘Mum doesn’t know about’, and this year we had some amazing products that were donated ranging from chocolates and tea to plants, jewellery, keyrings, candles and much more. This is not only a great day for students but a wonderful fundraising opportunity as so many of the items students were able to purchase were donated by people in our school community.
Our volunteers were put to work on our Bunnings Barbeque day which saw a lot of people come and support us, through volunteering, and purchasing a sausage sizzle. A special thank you must go to Mr Hoctor and Mrs Papadopoulos for their fantastic work serving customers.

We volunteer as a P&F committee and fundraise to support the students and teachers at St Patrick’s Primary School. We do this through supporting educational opportunities and to help with the purchasing of items that the school may not have otherwise been able to aquire. We help with the payments for busses for sporting events and with equipment and technology upgrades among other things.

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 30th July, feel free to come along. New members are always welcome, you don’t need to be a committee member to attend and put forward ideas! We have a wonderful group of parents working together to support our amazing school and teachers.
