Newsletter - Week 6 - Term 3
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our Fathers, Grandfathers and Father figures in our lives the most wonderful father’s day this Sunday. Parenting is no easy feat and being a father is challenging but rewarding job. We acknowledge all that these people do for us, caring, nurturing and protecting. We ask God to bless them and guide them in all that they do.
A big thank you to members of the P&F committee as well as some additional parent volunteers who organised and conducted our father’s day stall today. The range of gifts was impressive and the students had the opportunity to choose something that their dad would love.
A Prayer For Fathers
Heavenly Father,
you entrusted your Son Jesus,
the child of Mary,
to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.
Bless all fathers
as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom,
tenderness and patience;
support them in the work they have to do,
protecting those who look to them,
as we look to you for love and salvation,
through Jesus Christ
our rock and defender.
Amen.
