We have had a wonderful start back for borrowing in the library this week, with many smiling faces and excitement as the students chose their first book for 2025. Please assist your child to return their book on their library day, so they are able to continue borrowing each week.

Premier's Reading Challenge will start next week, it is a wonderful way for students to improve their reading skills. All classes will be loaned a selection of books in their classroom to read. They can also borrow books from our library.

Our Kinder, Year 1 and 2  teachers will read 30 books to the students for them to complete the challenge over the coming months. Year 3 are assisted and shown how to access the website in  library time and are able to read their books in silent reading time. I am always available to help the students where needed for the Premiers Reading Challenge. Years 4,5 and 6 are independent and also have books in class to read. Years 3 to 6 are required to read 20 books by August to complete the challenge.
