SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS
In the Easter school holidays, Jackson Harb was a part of the TS11 team for the IFA National Tournament held at Wanderers Park, Rooty Hill. Jackson had been scouted by the Western Sydney Wanderers staff, who identified him from the tournament as a high-quality player they wanted in their Elite Development Squad.
This Elite Development Squad is the invitation-only stage, before the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy, where they combine their players from U13’s, all the way through to A-League squads. An incredible achievement that our community is very proud of. Your relentless work ethic is admirable. We wish Jackson the best of luck in his future football endeavors.
Congratulations Jackson!
Congratulations to Jackson and Luka in Year 5 on being selected for the 2025 Wollongong Primary Boys Football Representative team!
This is an outstanding achievement—especially for Year 5 students—being selected from the competitive sports trials in the Diocese, with hundreds of students showcasing their skills from the West and the South Coast over two trials to make the Wollongong team.
With the team, Luka and Jackson then travelled to the Western Sydney Wanderers Football Park at the end of May to compete against other Diocesan teams, demonstrating exceptional ball skills and teamwork throughout a long and demanding day - a high-pressure situation in which the boys truly excelled.
Keep working hard on your footballing craft, boys — we're proud of you and excited to see what the future holds!
