LIBRARY
Library has begun for Term 3 and the children are borrowing with great enthusiasm. The excitement is building for the annual book parade with the children busting to tell us what they are planning to dress up as. The Book Parade will take place on Wednesday 27 August.
We have introduced some of the Book Week books to the children during their library time and Mrs Bowater will be visiting over the next couple of weeks to read some of the books in the classrooms.
On Monday the 25th of August Perform Education are performing Treasure Hunt for the students at 9 am. Below is a video for the students to practice the dance moves.
Scholastic Book Fair
In Week 9 we have a Scholastic Book Fair taking place in our school library on the 17th, 18th and 19th of September. The library will be open from 8.15 am to 8.45 am and 3.00 pm to 3.30 pm on the above dates should you like to visit with your child. The students will also have the opportunity in their borrowing time to make a wish-list for books they may like to purchase. We will not be accepting cash as it's only eftpos sales in the library. Please don't send cash to school with your child as we dont want them to lose it.
With the wish-list you will be able to purchase the books your child would like online for those who would prefer this option. If you purchase via the wishlist, and pay online, please send the wishlist back to school with your child and we will pass on the book/s to them. If the book has sold out, we will order more copies at the end of the Book Fair and deliver to your child.
