PRINCIPALS MESSAGE

Dear Parents

Last Sunday was World Mission Sunday. The work of Catholic Mission is one of the many ways the Church serves those most in need around the world, bringing them practical support.  It is a time for us to be reminded that as a school we need to share in this calling. As you are aware we have our Mission Wall which is in our school’s breakout space. This wall celebrates how we see Jesus in other people by their acts or words. I invite you if you see or hear of anyone in our school who demonstrates mission to write their name in the box which is outside the office window.

Uniform

Reminder that we are now in summer uniform and that all articles of clothing have your childs name on them. Children need to wear a school hat every day. Boys summer short-sleeved shirts must display the school logo.

One of our office staff spoke on Monday (21st October) to Lowes at Warrawong in regards to the boy’s short sleeved white shirt. The shirt has the School Logo on it. If a sales assistant advises you otherwise please let them know we have spoken to the manager and he has confirmed that the shirts have the logo as required.

Public Speaking competition

Tomorrow Dante H (5) and Christian P (6) will be attending the South East Primary Cluster CDF Regional Public Speaking Competition held at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Bulli on Wednesday, 23 October. Good luck boys !!

After School Care

I have had confirmation for After School Care next year. I am meeting with Catholic Care this week to discuss details around its implementation. I will keep you informed during this term.

Kindergarten 2020

We have had a great start with playgroup this year. It has been for the Kindergarten teachers and myself to meet new families and siblings from existing families.

Looking foward to another busy term.

Peace and blessings

Mrs Anne Duggan
