Thank you to the parents who have accepted the invitation to be part of the panel for my appraisal. This will be done by phone call by a member of the panel on the day. I will be ringing each of you individually in the next week to work out a time between 1.45-2.00pm that is suitable to you.

COVID

Clarification regarding return to school following flu-like symptoms.

Students who have been sick with flu-like symptoms are only required to present a negative COVID test result when they have displayed the COMMON coronavirus symptoms. These symptoms are defined by NSW Health as:

• Fever 
• Coughing 
• Shortness of breath (difficulty breathing) 
• Sore throat 
• Loss of smell or taste

If any student is displaying either common or expanded coronavirus symptoms they are not to attend school.

Cyber safety

This week we were visited by two members of the Youth Liaison officers from the Police Force to talk to our Stage 3 students about the responsible use of social media. I’m sure that the boys and girls like myself learnt from the presentations.
