REC UPDATE - WEEK 8
First Holy Communinon
On Sunday November 22nd several of our Year 3 students completed the sacrament of First Holy Communion. It was an excellent day and the students all received the Host reverently and respectfully. After many weeks of preparation and dedication the girls and boys should all be very proud of themselves. I might also add that they all scrubbed up particularly nicely! Mrs Duggan, Miss Cappetta and myself were honoured to be there with the children and their families on their special day.
A special thanks to Sr Miriam for organising and preparing the children and the ceremony throughout the year, Miss Cappetta for running the workshops and guiding the children, and to Fr Mark for administering Holy Communion to the children for the first time.

Vinnies Christmas Appeal
Don’t forget that we are continuing to accept donations for the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. The gift sacks in the classrooms are starting to over flow, and it’s a close contest between Year 2 and Year 6 as to who will be deemed the most generous class in the school!
If you haven’t already done so please donate tinned fruit, long life custard or milk, plum pudding, Christmas cake, biscuits or lollies. Your generosity is very much appreciated. The donations help to make Christmas that little bit better for families and individuals who are facing hardships in our community.
