February Mission Star!

A big congratulations to the February Mission Star Award recipient, our wonderful Year 3 student Alicia Morgan! Alicia is a more than deserving recipient of the award, receiving 6 nominations from the St Patrick’s community. Thanks for being a Mission Star everyday Alicia! We are very proud of your efforts.

The Mission Star Award is especially unique as nominations come from all members of the school community, not just teachers. Remember, if you would like to nominate a student, staff member, parent or carer you can do so by writing a nomination in the Mission Star nomination box in the front office.   

 Project Compassion – Ice Cream Creations Fundraiser!

The Mini Vinnies members, along with Miss Doro, Mr Hoctor and myself were very busy running the Project Compassion – Ice Cream Creations Fundraiser on Monday of this week. The vast majority of the students purchased an ice cream, and all profits raised go to helping people living in poverty in countries such as Tanzania, the Solomon Islands, Bangladesh and Indonesia. We raised a total of $244.30. It was a very hot day so an ice cream went down a treat!

Many thanks for your generosity! Remember, the theme for Project Compassion 2021 is BE MORE; and this Lent, we are aspiring not to have more, but to be more!
