Premiers Reading Challenge will be finishing on the 19th of August. Most students have finished the challenge. Please notify me if your child is needing any assistance. We are very excited for Book Week on Monday the 22nd of August and many children are seeing me in the library for a book to borrow for their character.
These will be available to the children in Week 5 so they are prepared for Monday the 22nd of August. If they have a book at home that has their character then that is great to use too! Please encourage your children to come and see me in the library if they need assistance for book week ideas.
Thank you,

The excitement is building for our annual Book Week Character Parade. The date for the parade is Monday 22 August at 9.00am in the Parish Hall. Parents are welcome to come and enjoy the celebrations. Pre-Schoolers are also welcome to come dressed as their favourite book character.
We ask parents to discuss the character their child is going to dress up as and whether they have the book. If you don't have the book at home please ask your child to visit the school library and talk to our Library staff for assistance by Wednesday 17 August. The children are asked to carry the book with them during the parade.
We remind everyone that it is a book character parade so the character should come from a book.
Parents are asked to enter through the back door of the hall and take a seat whilst waiting for the children to come across.
Looking forward to seeing all the wonderful characters on parade.
