Volunteer students from Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed the rare spring sun by picking juicy mulberries from the flourishing mulberry tree in the garden. The children were very thoughtful in making sure they taste tested a few before handing the majority over to the Ms Figueira to make her delicious homemade jam! The children got to enjoy a sweet treat of jam on a slice of bread last Friday. Judging by the smiles and sticky fingers and faces we are certain it was a hit.
