Our school uniform is, to my mind, a most attractive uniform that sets our school and
students apart and wearing our school uniform correctly instils within the students a sense pride in our wonderful school.
With that in mind could I ask please that you be particularly conscious of dressing your
child(ren) correctly in our school summer uniform when sending your children to school in 2023 and ensuring is addition that your child(ren) comply with expectations about hairstyles and accessories
To help you please read excerpts of our school uniform code as below:

•  Hair should be styled in a manner that attracts positive comments only, with          emphasis on a neat and tidy appearance. No extreme haircuts or styles.
•  Girls may use school coloured hair accessories. Hair accessories can include:  ribbons, scrunchies, thin headbands or plain clips to hold hair back.
•  Minimal products (e.g. Hairspray, gel) may be used to tame or control hair, but  not to style (e.g. spike hair)
•  Hair must not be bleached or dyed in any way, this includes the addition of hair     extensions, hair pieces or coloured braids.
•  Hair, including fringes, must not fall on a child’s face, covering their eyes.  Students'  hair cannot br unevenly shaved, including having any lines shaved into  their heads.
• Hair should be cut in an evenly cut manner. Hair should not have an extra  difference in length, but rather be of a blended appearance.
•  Hair that is collar length or longer must be tied back.

Jewellery

• Small watches may be worn, providing they do not distract from the overall          appearance of the uniform.
• Students may wear one pair of plain silver or gold sleepers or plain silver studs.   
• No nail polish, acrylic nails, SNS or Shellac.
• No make-up is to be worn, including lip gloss. Lip balm may be worn for dry lips.
• No rings or bracelets are to be worn.
• Religious medals, on a thin chain, may be worn under the school shirt. 

Shoes and Socks

• Students are required to wear all black leather or ‘leather look’ shoes with  Summer and Winter uniforms.
• Shoes must be clean and polished.
• Sports shoes must be supportive joggers, not canvas shoes or gym boots. They must be predominately white, with white shoelaces.
• Summer and winter uniform socks must be completely white and not have logos. They should fold-over and at least cover the ankle - no sockettes or long white socks.
