Dear Parents

Welcome back to a new school year!  We are very excited to welcome you all back next week.  I hope the Christmas period was filled with  joy and precious time with your family.

For our new parents, newsletters come out fortnightly on a Friday - the first of which will come out next Friday.  I did, however, want to send some information out today that you might find helpful prior to your child returning to school next week.

Student Information

If there has been any change of information in relation to your child, please contact the office as soon as possible.  This could include change in emergency contacts, change of address, email or phone number, or updated medical information. In order to assist our teachers get to know your child’s learning needs this year, we are asking you to complete a short survey.  It would be greatly appreciated if this could be done by Friday 3 February.

Parent teacher interviews will be held at the end of Term 1, however please be aware that you can make contact with the office at any time to make an appointment to talk to your child’s teacher.  The partnership between home and school is essential for your child to thrive in their learning.  At any time you have concerns or require clarification on any matter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Please be assured that if your child accidentally wears the wrong uniform on the wrong day, particularly in the first few weeks, they won’t “be in trouble”. 

Uniforms

School uniforms, including the school bag can be purchased through Lowes Warrawong.  The new school hat, girls blouse and skort (optional) can only be purchased through Yeronga.  Staff from Yeronga will be selling these items from the school office on Monday 30 January at 10.30am.
