The Premier's Reading Challenge is now well underway. All children have their passwords and all classes have reading books in their class. Kinder to Year 2 are read to by the teacher and I will add these books to the website as they go. Years 3 to 6 also have reading books in their classroom for silent reading time, this will help them to add extra reading to their lists. Some students have chosen not to participate in Years 3 to 6 as it's not compulsory to complete. If you are wanting your child to complete the challenge, and they don't have a reading log please ask them to see me in the library.

The Premier's Reading Challenge is a fantastic way for them to improve their reading and have fun! I have explained to all the students that the challenge goes until August and that it isn't a race, but a personal challenge for themselves to enjoy their reading.
