Dear Parents
Life Education
On 2, 3 and 4 July the Life Education Van will be coming to our school. Specially trained educators present vital health and safety messaging through tactile and multisensory activities. Each session is designed to intrigue and excite children of all ages, which captures their imagination and has a lasting impact! Joined by Life Education's loveable mascot Healthy Harold our educators bring to life lessons that empower children to make safer and healthier choices, now and in the future.
The cost of this excellent program was included as a separate cost on your statement of account. There is an opportunity also if you wish to purchase Happy Harold merchandise. A form is attached at the bottom of this newsletter if you wish to purchase products.

Book Week Readings
In preparation for our St Patrick’s Book Week celebrations, Alana Crapis’ (Year 6) grandmother, Mrs Bowater is once again volunteering her time to come each week and read one of the short listed books from the Premiers Reading Challenge. Mrs Bowater spends each Thursday reading to each class.

First Reconciliation
A very big congratulations to all of the Year 3 girls and boys who completed their First Reconciliation last Thursday evening. By all accounts it was a wonderful evening and a rewarding experience for the children and their parents. I spoke with Fr Mark and he was especially pleased with willing and eager participation of the girls and boys. Well done Year 3!
St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal
The breakout space is looking like ALDI at the moment with the amount of canned soup, pasta, noodles and jars of jam flooding the area at the moment! What a wonderfully generous community we have at St Patrick’s!
There is still time to bring in any of the items mentioned above for the Vinnies Winter Appeal. These items will be given to people who are in serious need throughout the winter months.
Kind Regards
