Dear Parents
I can’t believe we are already at the end of another term. Thank you for all of your continued support throughout this Term. While it has at times been challenging, there has also been lots to celebrate
I wish you all a restful student vacation period and hope your family gets time to relax and connect.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 19 July, first day of Term 3 for students.

Pyjama Mufti Day

Positive Behaviours for Learning (PB4L)
Our PB4L focus for the Week 1 of Term 3 will be Administration Building.
In the explicit teaching lessons the expected behaviours taught will be:
Expected Behaviours:
- Use good manners - eg: Excuse me, please, thank you ,may I.
- Wait quietly and patiently until attended to.
- Remain in the student foyer.
- Return ice-packs when you have finished with them.
Unacceptable Behaviours:
- Not greeting staff.
- Forgetting our manners.
- Interrupting/being patient
- Not returning your ice-pack.
Our PB4L/SEL (Social & Emotional Learning) focus for the Week 2 of Term 3 will be based on Social Awareness.
Having a conversation:
Acceptable Behaviours:
- Look at the person.
- Use a pleasant voice.
- Listen to what the other person says.
- When there is a break in the conversation, ask a question or share your thoughts.
Unacceptable Behaviours:
- Looking away from the person speaking.
- Shouting
- Ignoring what they are saying.
- Interrupting

It is with pride that I inform you that over the last two weeks 127 students were given Citizenship, Merit, Excellence, Library, or Playground Affirmation Awards whilst there were 13 incidents of inappropriate behavior recorded.

SCHOOL OFFICE HOURS
A reminder that office hours are 8.15am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Admin staff are available to take your calls from 8.15am. Prior to this you are welcome to leave a voicemail or email and it will be directed to the appropriate member of staff.
School gates will be opened at 8.15am for school supervision. There is no supervision prior to 8.15am.
